Byrdcliffe offers several types of residency ranging from four weeks to five months for artists in multiple disciplines…Visual artists and craftspeople in all media, writers, musicians, composers, architects, filmmakers, actors, and artists in other disciplines are invited to apply. Emerging as well as established artists are invited to apply.
Fellowships are available for artists in need, including a grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation for artists displaced or otherwise affected by natural disaster.
Byrdcliffe is also offering the following fellowships with the support of our granting partners for the 2018 AiR season:
-The annual Mantooth/Morabito Fellowship for an artist of color.
-The annual Monica Coleman/Kate Pierson Fellowship for a self-identified woman artist.To be eligible for these fellowships, simply check the appropriate boxes in the Fellowship section of the application.
