Light Space & Time encourages entries from all 2D & 3D women artists regardless of where they reside and regardless of their experience or education in the art field. A group exhibition of the top ten finalists will be held online at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery during the month of January 2017. Awards will be for top 10 places. In addition, depending on the amount and the quality of the entries received, Special Merit and Special Recognition awards will also be presented as well.

The Visiting Artist Residency Program accepts applications from working, professional artists who demonstrate a deep commitment to their practices. The program is open to artists of all generations, nationalities, and disciplines. Applicants are required to cover studio rental costs themselves. Although we primarily support visual artists, 18th Street Arts Center will consider applications from performing artists, writers, and filmmakers as well.

Banff Artist in Residence (BAiR) Spring Intensive is an immersive period of studio practice, artistic exploration, and self-directed research. As well as having the space to create, research, and experiment, participants are part of a community of artists, curators, and creative professionals each committed to their practice.
Residencies are for visual artists, curators, researchers, and other arts professionals with an exhibition/publication record, who have had formal training in visual arts or equivalent experience and recognition from their peers.

halka art residency is located in a 3 floor historical Moda house with 3 private rooms, co-shared areas and a small recreational garden.
While the organization is responsible to provide a private room for each artist, the studios, the kitchen and the bathroom facilities are co-shared. Internet connection and a weekly general maintenance are also provided by the organization.
halka art project is a non-profit, independent art initiative, formed in May 2011 by İpek Çankaya and Sezgi Abalı Attal with the participation of their friend Ayşe Kâya without depending any institutional or corporate sponsorship.

International Deadline: September 20, 2016 – Fusion Art invites submissions for its first annual charity art exhibition: ‘Art for Animals’. Open to artists worldwide. Work must be the original creation of the artist and completed within the past 5 years.
Fusion Art has partnered with the Palm Springs Animal Shelter, SNIP, The Living Desert, Animal Samaritans, and the Humane Society of the Desert to host a charity art exhibition during the month of December 2016. For this competition artists and photographers are encouraged to share their artistic vision of Animals, both domestic and wild.
Twelve winners will be chosen and their artwork will be featured in the Palm Springs gallery during the month of December 2016. Additional artwork may be selected for inclusion in the exhibition based on gallery space.
All competitions include awards in two categories – “Traditional” Art and ” Photography & Digital” Art and the Best in Show winners in each category will be invited to participate in the annual group show in Palm Springs in November 2016.

The Exposure Program, in conjunction with the Aqua Art Fair, will be selecting emerging artists for exhibition during Art Basel Miami, the largest art fair in the Americas, taking place in December of 2016.
Applications are currently being accepted from emerging and mid-career artists.
Now in its sixth year, the Exposure Program will be bringing emerging and mid-career artists to this highly attended art fair, while also preparing artists with the promotion and career training they need to make the most of such an opportunity.
