Born September 1~ Elizabeth Shippen Green

Elizabeth Shippen Green (September 1, 1871-May 29, 1954) was an American illustrator. She studied with Howard Pyle at Drexel where she met Violet Oakley and Jessie Willcox Smith; Pyle nicknamed them The Red Rose Girls.
